the South African Way

Lee and Caryn van Deventer

My hubby and I are two South African's who met each other in the state of Utah...of all places. Then to top it off we were blessed to win a greencard! . Miracles happen! So now we get to stay and experience life in a new and exciting place, with different adventures and blogging all about it!

And the leaves are turning

We have had three birthdays in the family in the last week. So happy birthday to my Nana, Ryan and Luke! We are wishing you all the very best and are sorry we are unable to spend your special days with all of you!

Lee and I have both had a very busy start to our fall semester. I just started a job at the student health center; I am working as a clinicians aid for the doctor's there. I am definitely loving it and I am sorry I don't have any pictures of me wearing my scrubs.

The container arrived so we have been unpacking boxes, and the house is all upside down. Pickles is so nervous about all this that she wont even go upstairs! But hopefully that will sort its self out soon.

Lee is very busy at work and has so many trade shows to go to next month that he will only be home for like a week the whole month. This is probably going to make me kinda sad, but I do have school to keep me busy. I started my last year as I graduate in April. I only have a couple of classes and then I am done with the bachelors. Yeah!

I hope to have some pics soon....
